Claudio has served as Managing Director at Omega Funds since 2016 and is a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Claudio joined Omega Funds from NeoMed Management, which he joined in 2001, and became a Partner in 2004. He has over 20 years’ experience of venture capital investing in healthcare in Europe and the US. Prior to NeoMed, Claudio was a Venture Partner with Genevest Consulting Group SA in Geneva. He has academic research experience in molecular biology from the Max Planck Institute in Germany and the University of Connecticut, USA. Claudio has an MBA from Erasmus University, the Netherlands, and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Pavia, Italy.
